Each of the hotel’s 27 rooms and junior suites has been designed as an oasis of comfort, a cosy cocoon, in which the use of fabrics and materials is literally a fine art very much of the times. The sleek design, created by Anne Peyroux and Emmanuèle Thisy, pays tribute to the noblest of fabrics… one in particular. An iconic component of haute couture — which was born in this area of Paris — lace is a leitmotif of the Chavanel’s contemporary-style decoration.

This hotel is great. It is close to the department stores and subway, location is great. More importantly, the hotel and the environment is safe. Hotel Chavanel really did a good job giving me a nice and comfortable trip experience in downtown Paris. One suggestion for the hotel, the glasses shower curtain is not that useful.

After a recommendation from our travel agent, we booked in and arrived. We weren’t disappointed! The hotel receptionist, Henry was really polite and helped us find our way around Paris. Boutique, private and very comfortable. If you’re looking for an easy hotel for a few nights. Book!

Comfortable and quiet stylish rooms, well designed bathroom.Staff are friendly and breakfast is delicious and included which was the perfect addition.Rates are very reasonable and it’s a perfect place to stay in Paris for over a week like me without breaking the bank! Highly recommend this hotel and I will be back!

Excellent location, easy walk to the Opera House, metro, shopping etc. Spotlessly clean and delicious breakfast. Service was impeccable; very helpful and courteous particularly David who couldn’t do enough for us! We would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely book here again in we go back to Paris
